Quilters Enjoy Recent Retreat

Twenty-three ladies recently enjoyed a five day sewing retreat at Maroochy Waters.
It was a great opportunity to finish those quilts that had been awaiting attention plus start new ones, and also to make new friends and be thoroughly spoilt with amazing food.
Our photos show Leonie Meggitt modelling her quilted jacket that was made using a jelly roll along with a sweatshirt as a lining. And Gwen McKeon made this very simple bag, a great gift idea.
Tin Can Bay Quilters meet every Tuesday from 9.00am to 12 noon at the Community Hall on Tin Can Bay Road. All visitors are most welcome.
