Locals Shine At Recent World Cup

How awesome is this?! A tiny bunch of locals from Combined Martial Arts Cooloola made the trek to Sydney in late October for the ISKA (International Sports Karate/Kickboxing Association) World Cup and came home with a swag of titles – and barely enough room to hold all their belts!
Competition was fierce with 1,334 competitors from 180 clubs from 11 different countries. And our local legends managed to place 16th overall, which is an amazing feat considering there were only 6 of them competing.
Congratulations to all involved, you have done yourselves – and the Cooloola region – very proud.
