Cultural Waves Showcase: A Vibrant Celebration at Rainbow Beach

Elisa Seul

Rainbow Beach, brace yourselves for another heartwarming evening of artistry, culture, and melodies! After the great success of the Tunes & Tales Event in September, our very own Producer Elisa: People, Places & Events is back, bringing another vibrant experience to our community.

On Friday, 24th of November, the heart of Rainbow Beach, our cherished Community Centre, will come alive at 5pm with the “Cultural Waves Showcase”.

Elisa, with her passion for community and storytelling, collaborates with local artists Kingfisher Dreaming and Lexi Illustrator to present an evening that’s more than just an event—it’s a personal journey of art, music, and cultural connections.

The stellar spotlight of the evening will be none other than international artist and Butchulla SongMan, FRED LEONE. He’s set to launch his ‘Yirimi Gundir’ single.

For those with a liking for visual stories, the ‘Wunungu Awara’ animated shorts are bound to transport you to lands of wonder and whimsy. And, speaking of stories, art aficionados are in for a real treat with Elise Bailey’s First Nations Art Exhibit debut—a canvas of stories, dreams, and histories.

The evening will also bring the premier reading of “A Rainbow Story with Sofia & Matisse” by Elisa Seul, a testament to her dedication to bringing diverse narratives to life.

With tickets priced at just $15 for adults and free entry for kids under 14, it’s a celebration you wouldn’t want to miss. Supported by the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund, this showcase champions the arts in our very own backyard.

So, mark your calendars and immerse yourself in a night of cultural splendour. The waves of culture are coming to Rainbow Beach, and you won’t want to miss the tide! See you there!
