Two new Aussies in Rainbow Beach
The 17th September 2013, was Australia Citizenship Day. An award ceremony was held 10 am at the Gympie Civic Centre, Mellor Street, at which 14 people received their Australian Citizens’ certificates.
Many countries were represented including, Papua New Guinea, South Africa, Thailand, France and the UK. Amongst those receiving their certificates, presented by Gympie Mayor, Ron Dyne, were two Rainbow Beach residents-. Congratulations Patricia (Trish) Mills, originally from PNG and Benjamin Fawthrop from the UK.
