Lounge Around At Rainbow Markets
Check out the Eco Lounge marquee at the next Rainbow Beach markets on 8 July.
Working with the Rainbow Beach Community Centre and Hall committee, the Cooloola CoastCare Turtle Care team offered an ECO LOUNGE at the Rainbow Beach markets on Saturday 10 June.
The Eco Lounge provided a sit-down area for market patrons in the centre of the quadrangle of market stalls.
The area offered a place to sit and enjoy the coffee, cake, GF donuts, BBQ sausage (all from market vendors), listen to the music, or somewhere to park your partner.
Cooloola CoastCare set up 4 marquees with tables and chairs and a children’s activity area. The activity area proved very popular with the sensory play provided by Liz Couchman of Clever Bugs (www.cleverbugs.com.au).
A raffle was run with a ‘turtley’ prize and the excited winner was the Montgomery family of Rainbow Beach.
Cooloola CoastCare Turtle Care will set up the Eco Lounge at the next Rainbow Beach market on Saturday 8 July, come along and say hi.
