Cooloola Cove Residents and Friends welcome their new president, Graham Langdown.

He says there’s good news, the Our Towns Program 2016  had its Cooloola Cove funding fast-tracked. The grant of more than $120,000 will provide streetscaping and footpath upgrades in the Shopping Centre precinct.

The work we do via our connections with Council and local government endeavours to improve the quality of life for residents, and provide a welcoming experience for visitors.

Graham’s aim is to “improve our representation of Cooloola Cove, increase our membership base, and inform and involve residents in our future”.

He says, “2017 will be an important year, as we can leverage off an increase in local activity to initiate projects and work to improve our town now and into the future.”

Look out for the Christmas raffle drawn December 17 for $1 a ticket you could win $250 cash. They are available near Woolworths Saturday mornings. The last meeting for 2016 will be 10am, December 19 at Cooloola Cove Veteran and Community Hall.
