Our market community just keeps growing, getting better every month.
A lot of preparation goes into each market – contacting stallholders, planning the layout, confirming stallholder insurances, promoting on all media, organising the volunteer roster, line-marking and numbering the sites, setting up and packing away inside tables, erecting the music marquee, ordering barbecue items, early morning site marshalling, site fee collection, and general administration. Then there’s the cleaning up afterwards.
We have 23 market volunteers but we’re not all available every month. So we always welcome newcomers to the volunteer pool.
