Bowlers ready for the first game for 2015
The ladies bowls club will have their first invitation day on February 3, starting with morning tea at 9am with a 9.30am start. At the January general meeting seven new members were welcomed to the ladies bowls club. Bowlers are reminded that the ladies bowls now start at 12.30pm.
The Reibel sponsored day was well attended, with 48 bowlers enjoying the day. Thank you Vince and Janet Reibel for your generosity.
The club championships have begun in the men’s. The fours championship was won by Kel Young’s team, which included junior bowler Kane Wallis who played like the champion he is!
The singles championship is being played, with the pairs to follow this month. The nominated mixed pairs are played each Saturday afternoon, Sunday mixed social bowls, Wednesday men’s pairs and Thursdays is ladies bowls mixed.
