Courageous Kingstyn Rocks the Stage
Kingstyn Fisher rocked the TCB Markets stage in June
Cooloola Coast Youth Activity Project (YAP) is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth confidence development.
Getting onstage is one way to beat the butterflies and be bold but this wasn’t an issue for 12 year old Kingstyn Fisher from Gympie as he rocked along with the Music @ the Markets crew.
His drive to have a go was an inspiration as he strummed some classics and a few modern riffs as well. Inspired by the likes of Slash and Jimi Hendrix, Kingstyn certainly has the guitar bug and owns both an acoustic and electric with the view to keep playing for as long as his hands will allow him.
Proud mum Debbie was front and centre to cheer him on, and if you’d like to show support for Kingstyn’s efforts then head down to the Tin Can Bay RSL Markets on the 3rd Saturday of the month as he’ll definitely be back next time.
