You might recall our article last month saying we’re all smiles at Tin Can Bay Community & Men’s Shed (TCBCAMS). Well, it’s infectious!

Here we are again with Clive Blakely (our Workshop Manager) having a laugh with Una Cairns (President of the Indoor Bowls Club). ‘The Shed’ was commissioned recently to make new ball retrieval sticks and stands – thanks go to shed member Graeme Clarke for his efforts here.

And elsewhere in the community, shed members Keith Gall and Rob Norris have been busy sanding and painting tables at Cathy House. Whilst in Anzac Memorial Park, the Bofors Gun has been given a fresher and brighter look by shed members Rob, Fernando, Ton,y and Robert.

TCBCAMS recognises and thanks Gympie Regional Council for funds obtained through a grant which have enabled the purchase of our new state-of-the-art bandsaw pictured here. We now boast a very well-equipped Shed for members to use – why not come over and inspect our facilities next time you’re in Tin Can Bay.

We’re open 9am-12noon weekdays, with Tuesdays and Thursdays dedicated to Men Only days.

OR come to our Shed Shop Sale Days – third Saturday of the month. Always bargains to be found!

Tin Can Bay Community & Men’s Shed is in Amity Place (behind City Farm) in Tin Can Bay. We can be contacted on 0491 175 038.
