Tony Stewart donates $500 to feed the homeless with Coordinator Marlene Owen in Gympie

Last month western Queensland had sporadic falls of rain, but last month a lot of Queensland has received more general rain and just in time for some growth to get through the winter.

It won’t rain dollars for the poor buggers but the rain will lift spirits and those with stock should soon get back on their feet. Like the 1990s we should see a lot more country people holidaying at the coast.

This month we have sent $3000 in vouchers to CentaCare Longreach (mental health), $1000 to Fencing For Fires and $500 to feed the homeless in Gympie.

Many thanks to those that purchased our mozzie coil holders (hard to keep up supply) made by Jim Snee, to Felicity from The Bush Bundle in Brisbane for her boxes of goodies, and we have $1100 this month in our bottle collections (thanks Wayne).

Collection tins from Tin Can Bay Bakery, Shell servo, Lees and RBT Info, came to $226, thank you.

To Leena and Steve of Tin Can Bay, thank you for another wonderful load of food, and to  all that have donated with money and to the food trolleys, thank you.

We really need pastas, canned food, sugar, flour, rice, biscuits, and cake mixes.
