‘One Step at a Time Tin Can Bay’ walking group recently gathered to bid farewell to Daytona, who has remembered our orders and served our coffees at the Tin Can Bay Bakery, with her beautiful smile.

We miss her, but are very excited that Daytona has focused and worked to follow her dream. We wish her all the very best in her studies and future career as a midwife. Goodbye and Good Luck!

Fourteen Heart Foundation walkers booked to enjoy a Christmas In July Luncheon, the fundraiser for the Cooloola Coast Medical Transport Inc. We certainly had a great time last year. Hopefully some great photos to follow in next month’s issue.

Congratulations to Ralph on achieving your first HFA award for 25 walks with the group.

The Tin Can Bay walkers meet Wednesdays and Saturdays outside the Tin Can Bay Bakery: Early group leaves at 7am, the later group at 7.30am.

Cooloola Cove Wheelie Walkers meet at 9am on Mondays and Fridays at the Nautilus Drive Bus Shelter outside the shopping centre.

Walk Yourself Happy!  It’s free, fun and a great way to improve our physical, mental, social and emotional health.
