You may be surprised what you’ll find for Dad on the coast – there are loads of ideas at Cooloola Mitre 10, 7th Wave, Rainbow Cooloola Wholesalers and Whatever, or even book him on a fishing charter, tour or experience. And while you are at it, enjoy some time together on September 3….
A meal and a tune at Tin Can Bay
Pop down to the Marina Bar and Grill for a Father’s Day breakfast, lunch or dinner – if you are there for lunch, you’ll be treated to the sounds of Glen Mooney. The live music continues every Sunday afternoon from 3pm at the Tin Can Bay Country Club, and on Father’s Day, you’ll be entertained by the Ash Williamson Duo.
A million dollar view
Dine at Rainbow Beach Surf Club or Food Sans Borders at Carlo Point and you are the closest you can be to our water views. What a great way to relax with your dad.
Feast from Ocean Breeze Seafood
Prawns and more are on offer, straight from Rainbow Beach fisherman. Enjoy your own seafood basket, or take some fish and chips to the headland.
Step into little Italy at our own piazza at Arcobaleno, known for their pizza and pasta, or visit Coffee Rocks, one of the newest venues in town. You could grab takeaway wraps or burgers and a smoothie from Rainbow Fruit, or coffee and one of their famous pies from Ed’s Beach Bakery and take in our beach views!
BBQ on the Deck
Overlook the beautiful foreshore at Tin Can Bay RSL with ice-cold drinks, tasty BBQ burgers, live music, multiple raffles, 11am to 4pm, at 45 Gympie Road. Everyone is welcome, book a table: 07 5486 4224
Give the man a massage
