At approximately 6pm on Friday, October 29, two unknown women damaged and removed an unsecured toilet window and climbed into a residence on Cooloola Drive, Rainbow Beach.
Once inside, one of the women opened the doors to the garage and entered while the other unknown woman moved towards the kitchen and dining room.
Both then later exited the residence via the main entrance door after the home occupant received a security alert and triggered an alarm.
The first woman is described as Caucasian, slim build, early twenties with below shoulder length light coloured hair. Her left arm has a distinctive tattoo extending to the left shoulder blade, and further tattoos on the inside of her right arm, left thigh and upper left shoulder blade.
The second woman is described as Caucasian, proportionate build, early twenties, short dark hair, wearing glasses, a black watch on her left wrist, bangle on her right wrist and a neck chain.
Police believe the two women pictured below may be able to assist with this investigation.
