Skate park improvements planned for Cooloola Cove

After five years, finally the lobbying young Izaak Cole (pictured with Cr Mark McDonald) started is coming to fruition – with changes planned for the Cooloola Cove Skate Park.

Calling all skaters, riders and interested residents, Council would like your input to help drive improvements to the Cooloola Cove Skate Park at Billabong Park, Queen Elizabeth Drive.

They are looking for your ideas on skate park elements and landscaping, and have held meetings on site to gather ideas.

This follows on from previous improvements through the Our Towns project.

The first session was held in March, but there is one more chance to have your say on Thursday, May 2, 4pm – 5.30pm at Billabong Park.

This event is unsupervised. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call 1300 307 800.
