Do the right thing!

As I walked to the Community Centre I was very disappointed with the rubbish strewn in Spectrum Street in front of the backpacker accommodation. The car park was also littered with rubbish and beer bottles left lying over the grass. Backpackers are a very important part of our economy, however it would be greatly appreciated if they used the bins provided for rubbish.

The Community Centre will be holding their AGM on May 19 at 11:30am. All interested community members are invited.

The CIRS and Hall have been busy from December through to February. Bookings for the Hall have been slow in March, however April looks promising.

Trash and Treasure: fourth Saturday in June and September, June 27 and September 26
