Dive into the Magic of One Remarkable Reef

FAMILIES ACROSS the region are invited to embark on an enchanting journey with the launch of the Gympie Regional Libraries First 5 Forever Story Walk, featuring Kellie Byrnes’ captivating children’s book, ‘One Remarkable Reef’.

A wonderful blend of nature, storytelling, and outdoor adventure, promoting early literacy and togetherness. Each page is displayed on standalone signboards, placed at intervals along Lawrie Hanson Park, Rainbow Beach. Turning a simple walk into a progressive storytelling experience.

‘One Remarkable Reef’, is vibrantly illustrated by Rachel Tribout and explores the diverse

marine life found in Queensland reefs. The book encourages young readers to appreciate the beauty of our ocean while learning about the reef’s most threatened creatures.

First 5 Forever is a State Library of Queensland initiative and supports early literacy programs for families. Storytime sessions are free and are run at each Gympie Regional Library branch.
