The battle of the business winners have been crowned

Kudos to the team from the Rainbow Beach Fitness Centre on creating such an all-inclusive event called the Battle of the Business Fitness Challenge.

While the challenge was initially created to generate weight loss and reduce body fat, it turned into such a wonderful show of camaraderie and teamwork that it a runaway success.

A huge congratulations to Team Awesome who are now crowned as the winners of the 2019 Battle of the Businesses Challenge.

The team lost a whopping 46.7 kg lost and 121.1cm and were coached by Bec Arthur, the Fitness Centre Manager.

In second place was ‘Just Fast Not Furious’ with a loss of 26.2kg and 93cm and ‘Arm Busters’ were the winners of the weekly challenges.

Manager of the fitness centre and organiser of the Challenge, Bec Arthur said: It’s been so inspiring to see everyone’s journey of change. I hope you keep up the good work because this is the first step. The journey starts here.

“A big congratulations to everyone who participated in the challenge. The challenges were fun, some were hard but everyone did really well. It was great to see the community come together and do something as a team.

“I found it really inspiring to watch all the teams cheer each other. The viking challenge was amazing. Team spirit was alive as everyone dressed up and made a grand entrance to the challenge.

“A special thanks to BJ for all your hard work and being here with me 100% of the way, Mat for your brilliant mind and Chloe for your support.”

Team ‘Arm Busters’ entered the arena for the final challenge with their whole family playing the drums and shell horn and wearing sheepskin accessories.

Each member of the winning team won a one-year gym membership and a two person two-night stay on Fraser Island complete with barge fare.
