Stolen boat and trailer, Gympie

Officers from Gympie are seeking public assistance in relation to a recent stealing of a boat and trailer between 3.21am and 3.31am on Monday, June 26 from Wickham Street in Gympie.

The boat is described as a 6.5 metre “Surtees” half cabin with Victorian registration QL767, named ‘Salt Shaker.’

The stolen boat has extensive damage to the transom, and the transom and motor is attached to the boat by blue and yellow tie down straps.

The boat trailer is described as a 2013 “Silver Transtyle” with Victorian registration 720 88A.

The boat and trailer was allegedly driven away by a silver coloured dual cab utility vehicle (pictured below) and was last seen travelling north on the Bruce Highway in Gympie.
