Our ladies have been busy, with Rainbow Beach local Linda Pottle making a great wall hanging of Bathing Beauties, which when finished will travel all the way to Yorkshire, England, to remind a lass of her family and sunny Queensland.
The children’s elephant quilt was made by Jo Page for a friend and the bright star-like quilt design is called “Winter Solstice” and was made by Gwen McKeon.
The Tin Can Bay Quilters Club meet every Tuesday from 9am to 12noon at the Community Hall, Tin Can Bay Road. All visitors are welcome.
