Men’s Shed progress appreciated

Tin Can Bay Community and Men’s Shed Progress is being made at the Tin Can Bay Community and Men’s Shed however, much work is still to be done to make it operational, pictured is Brian Lindfield, MP Llew O’Brien and Peter Palmer.

The member for Wide Bay, Llew O’Brien, was invited to inspect the progress of the Tin Can Bay Community and Men’s Shed.

A grant to build the shed was given by the Federal Government for the Australian Men’s Shed Association. Mr. O’Brien was very impressed with what has been achieved and amazed how the business community has supported the shed with materials for the fit-out.

There is still a lot of work to do to make the shed operational. If you would like to help, we would love to see you. We work every Thursday. Drop in for a cup of coffee and see the progress.

The next general meeting will be held Saturday October 22, 10am at the shed, located behind the nursery near the Community Complex. For more information, contact Brian on 5486 2835.
