Lifeguard report

Hello from the Rainbow Lifeguards. Winter is setting in and the volunteer lifesavers have finished their duties until September, thank you very much to the Lifesaving team for their commitment to the community and keeping our beaches safe on the weekends the last eight months!

The beaches will continue to be patrolled by the lifeguards seven days a week during winter. We have had some amazing weather lately, with beautiful clean conditions on the beach and lovely sunny days.

Water temperature is still around that 22-23 degree mark. As always the conditions are forever changing at the beach, so please read the conditions board when you come down to the beach.

If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to come and chat to the lifeguard on duty.

Always swim between the red and yellow flags.
