Ladies Day

The 2020 International Women’s Day will focus on the theme, ‘An equal world is an enabled world’ and individually, we are all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.

Every single person living in our community – men, women and children- need to acknowledge that domestic violence will not be tolerated – and we can do that – one person at a time – one town at a time, until it is so unacceptable – it is a thing of the past – it’s time for us to stop allowing it to hide in the shadows.

We can all, men and women, actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations, celebrate women’s achievements and keep women safe.

Our mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts should have the right to live in safety and peace.
