It’s all in the smile!
Business is booming for local electrician Smiley Mick (aka Darryel) and his three crew, Heath, Trent and apprentice Harry.
“I’ve seen big changes and growth in the area in the past few years, it’s great to see this happening in our towns,” states Smiley.
Incorporating Tin Can Bay, Cooloola Cove and Rainbow Beach, this offers excellent opportunities, as the team provides services for new homes, renovations and shop and club fittings, just to name a few.
Smiley also travels further north and south to Gympie, Maryborough and Poona for work, joining other local tradies on the job.
In their ninth year of business, it has all come together for Smiley Mick Electrical. And his family – with four children: Rory 13, Karter 10, Zahli 8 and Baylin 6 – all attending Victory College.
“Having your own business is ideal in so many ways, as I can work around them.”
Smiley’s wife Cassie adds, “I’m back teaching Calisthenics Comp classes in Maryborough and Tin Can Bay, so it helps to have him around for the kids after school.”
In his downtime you’ll find him outdoors! He enjoys dirt bike riding with the whole family, and surfing, attending the Boardriders Classic every year.
Smiley acquired his nickname early in life and it is easy to see why. So teamed with his top electrical skills, this may be why he’s doing so well. If you need a reliable electrician, phone Smiley on 0448 955 768.
