Gympie Region Studio Trails 2022 Applications are now Open!

Applications are now open for the Gympie Region Studio Trails 2022. Scheduled to take place over three weekends from 3-19 September, the Studio Trails are an opportunity for local artists and arts collectives to profile their work through inviting visitors into their creative spaces and studios.

We have so many talented artists on the Cooloola Coast and the public would love to see what goes on behind the scenes! So apply now to be included on the 2022 Trail.

This year artists and collectives have the option to open at any time during these dates including weekdays.

A cultural tourism initiative that supports the local arts and cultural sector, the Studio Trails also highlights our dynamic creative community to locals and visitors to the region.

Open to a range of art forms including visual arts, music, theatre, pottery and gardens, participating artists are also offered the opportunity to be considered for a commissioned artwork to the value of $1500. Visitors can enter to win the artwork by completing an online Culture Counts survey.

This project is supported by a $10 000 grant from the Regional Arts Fund – Cultural Tourism Accelerator program with Council officer support in the delivery of the program. Applications are accepted online and close at 12 noon on Monday the 16th of May 2022.
