Several golfing days were missed again in August but the Men are slowly managing to get their matchplay games completed.

The Vets Host days, which were postponed, have now been rescheduled for later in the year. The Men are looking forward to their trips away and also other clubs visiting us.

The Ladies championships were played in August , and I should have some results for next month’s Community News. The 2022 Ladies Open Day is being held on 9 September and we are hoping the weather will be kind to us as we have a fairly big field booked to join us for this annual event.

As there have been a lot of housing sales in the area there must be plenty of men and ladies who would like to join our Golf Club. Anyone wishing to become a member can call into the Country Club front desk and ask the staff to help with the appropriate application forms.

The Vets play on Tuesday of each week. Ladies Day is Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are nine-hole competitions, and Saturday and Sunday competitions are open to all members.

Any person with a Golf Australia Handicap can join our competitions. Bookings can be made on 0409 727 577 or by coming into the Pro Shop where staff can assist.

Our resident Professional James has a wide range of golf equipment, clothing, etc for sale. James is also a teaching Golf Professional and can help new and advanced players with lessons. The Pro Shop staff can assist by taking bookings over the phone or at the Pro Shop counter .

We look forward to seeing new members on the course.
