Free Acrylic Art Workshops at the Community & Men’s Shed

Have you ever thought of trying out your creative painting/drawing skills but have not had the opportunity? If so, why not take advantage of the FREE acrylic art/drawing workshops happening on Thursday afternoons?
Learn from self-taught and accomplished artist Bruce Whelan, who can teach you how to tap into the creative side of your brain with simple and relaxed exercises to train your mind to appreciate visual concepts of line, length, shape, angle, and negative space to replicate drawings using an upside-down perspective. Most materials are supplied or you can BYO. Classes held 1-3pm each Thursday.
Our Shed Shop Sale Days have become very popular of late (next one – Saturday October 16) with many unique and interesting pieces available for purchase at very reasonable prices. We are also trading online so check out what’s on offer via our website.
Our facilities, offerings and atmosphere are ever improving so if you’d like to be involved, please come along and join in the fun any weekday between 9am-1pm.
