Volunteers still caring for our dolphins

Mystique has been busy cleaning up the creek at Tin Can Bay – some of his haul

Many things have been happening since last month due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Dolphin Centre as you probably know was closed to the public in late March. Such a shame that the holiday makers who would have been on the Cooloola Coast during the Easter break and school holidays didn’t get a chance to see or feed a wild dolphin.

The volunteers are in attendance each day to check on the welfare of the dolphins and to give them a small proportion of their usual feed. This is to convey to them that we care and love them.

Of course we want them to keep visiting as this is the best thing Tin Can Bay has to offer, feeding and seeing wild dolphins.

Mystique has been very busy again cleaning up the creek.

You all stay safe and do the right thing by staying at home as much as possible so we can combat this virus.

See you at the Centre when all businesses are open again.

Cheers,

Norma Sanderson (Volunteer)
