Sandra and Janet making a farewell presentation to Judy Hammond.

All the golfing ladies were very sad to have to bid Judy Hammond farewell and to wish her happiness when she settles in her new home in Western Australia. She was always a good friend to all the golfers and bowlers.

Once again the rain came down and made the golf course too wet for championship tournaments. August and September will be months to try to catch up on the schedule.

The Vets were able to complete their 4BBB stroke championships with the Gross Winners being Rob Grambower and Mick Low, with Rob Downman and Vince Reibel being Gross Runners Up.

The Nett Winners were Michael Mills and Michael Johnson with Brian Burton and Keith Hood being Nett Runners Up.

Members have renewed their memberships for the coming financial year. We also were pleased to see several new members joining up and starting to play in our competitions.

Our Country Club is always ready to sign up new members for golf and bowls. The staff at the front desk can help with the completion of the necessary paperwork

Our Mens Vets have competitions on Tuesdays and also have days where we welcome other clubs to join our members. There are trips to other clubs when we take the Country Club Bus so the players can enjoy a few social beverages for relaxation on the way back.

James in the Pro Shop has a large range of clothing, footwear, and equipment for sale. He can also give lessons to beginners and players wishing to fine tune their skills. Come into the Pro Shop and take a look around or telephone the shop on 0409 727 577.

Hope to see new members playing in our competitions .
