Taking “5” after a Mother’s Day paddle

Our training sessions, Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings, continue in preparation for the next regatta in the Wide Bay Series which will be held in Hervey Bay on June 22. July 20/21 will be our turn to host this event right here in Tin Can Bay.

Our coach, Sandy Wooster, has just returned from Canberra where she was a volunteer at the Australian Dragon Boat Championships. Our assistant coach, Shane Berkhout, was part of the premiers team which took out a silver and bronze medal at these championships. Well done Shane!
