Wind Farm Approval

As per previous articles in this newspaper, Forest Wind Holdings is proposing a large-scale wind farm project be built on state forest land between Maryborough and Gympie.

This joint venture between Queensland-based renewables firm CleanSight and Siemens Financial Services Forest Wind was passed in State parliament last month.

CleanSight Stakeholder Engagement Manager, Jane Daniels, will be joining the next Rainbow Beach Chamber of Commerce meeting.

The Chamber meets on the third Tuesday of each month so it will be September 15 at 5pm for a 5.30pm start at the surf club.
