Well winter is here, a bit chilly we all would agree, we are busy knitting and crocheting rugs, scarves, beanies. If you know of anybody that needs winter warmers please let us know, as nobody needs to be cold in our community.

Our projects this month being woolly slippers and icy pole holders donated to the hospital, so far the members have made 150. Great work ladies.

Craft morning was fun with Sara teaching Macramé, a hanging pot holder was completed. A nice surprise, Sara bought pots and plants to complete.

Thank you Sara for a great morning. The ladies can’t wait for the next Macramé lesson.

Hoy this month was a great fundraiser for Breast Cancer with heaps of prizes, raffles and thanks Jess Milne for calling, and our special guest.

Morning tea served due to Covid restrictions is a little different. Total sum raised was $600!  Many thanks to Cooloola Bowls Club, all our volunteers and public support for making the day an excellent one.

Hope you managed to visit the Volunteer Expo Saturday 22 at the RSL. We were there; if you missed us, we are always welcoming new members, so drop in for a coffee and a chat on craft days to find out about what we do, not just tea and scones!

Our ladies are much appreciated for their volunteer contribution, and always happy to share craft knowledge.

HOY – Third Wednesday, Cooloola Bowls Club 9.30 for 10am start
