A delightful duo: Len on harmonica and Lay on guitar and vocals
At the end of March we enjoyed our usual mix of classical, folk, modern and popular music and poetry. The evening was a relaxed, friendly affair with much frivolity and good music, especially from our wonderful performing groups and individuals.
The audience was small but most appreciative and there was a positive glow that evening as we kept our COVID plan and just wondered how much we had forgotten in our lost freedoms. We were very pleased to welcome many of our usual performers and also one newcomer.
In May we will provide the usual evening of music and laughter then close for this season.
Enthusiasm for our varied programme each month should bring us back in the spring again if this style of entertainment continues to be popular.
We would love to hear from all musicians, poets, dramatists etc., who would like to tread the boards in May or next spring. There is always room for new faces and new styles. Come along 7pm, Thursday, May 27 at Cooloola Cove Vets Hall.
