We are enjoying the RBCCN more and more, you are both doing a fantastic job and making Rainbow Beach a fun and vibrant place to live.

To the team at Cooloola Coast Community News I’d just like to say a huge thank you on behalf of the Rainbow Beach State School P & C for your support with all of our community events.  From the recent Pig Day Out event raising money for Melanoma to the raffles at the fishing comp, your ability to get the word out has been invaluable towards attendances and money raised.  Going the extra mile by suggesting avenues for us to explore and sharing knowledge that comes from being a top quality newspaper has shown you are more than just words.  As a newspaper you truly live the ‘community’ of Rainbow Beach Cooloola Coast Community News and we thank you.

“An absolute credit to this town”

Wow!! We have just finished reading the latest edition of RBCN and loved every bit of it.

You have done an amazing job with the new format but most importantly, we love how every page resonates with us as residents, community members and business owners. You’ve done a wonderful job capturing the spirit of our community and this just reinforces all the reasons we love to live here.

We look forward to receiving a copy of the paper every month to see what we have missed and what is coming up in the community and we know many others do as well. With stories from the local playgroup happenings to the adventures of the over 60’s group and everything in between there is no better source of local news. With the changing face of journalism and the syndication of stories in all the regional publications we truly do have a unique product here in Rainbow Beach. The popularity of the publication is indicated by the speed copies disappear from the piles around town and also by the comments from locals when the paper isn’t out by the first of the month.

We also appreciate your coverage of tourism issues in town. Tourism is the main industry in town and it is well reflected in every edition with content attractive for visitors informing them about the many things to do on our coast. The Rainbow Beach Community News is one of the first publications at our resort that guests pick up to find out what the fabric of our small community is about and it is interesting to note that they choose RBCN over the other glossy tourist magazines and brochures we have on display.
