If you are an artist and would like a chance to win some fantastic prize money then why not enter the Du Rietz Art Awards, the annual Gympie Regional Gallery art competition which honours the architect of the beautiful historic School of Arts building where the Gallery is housed.

Now in their 4th year, the Du Rietz Art Awards are the premier art awards for the Gympie Region.

Finalists are displayed throughout the Gallery and feature a range of 2D and 3D artworks. Over $10,000 in prize money is on offer over multiple sections. Major sponsors are Gympie Regional Council, Budget Steel, and SoMa SoMa Espresso.

We have so many talented artists on the Cooloola Coast, let’s get a winner from our region!

Entries Close: 4pm, Friday 27 May

Exhibition viewing: 14 July – 26 August

Official Opening and Award presentations: Friday 15 July, 6pm

Judges Floor Talk: Saturday 16 July, 10.30am
