Yacht Club Spicing Things Up in August
There hasn’t been much, if any, sailing in June and July but there has been a lot of boat maintenance happening.
There have been new fittings, repairs to old ones, repairs to boat covers, and much hull polishing in preparation for the shakedown sail later this month. That is when the proof of the pudding in maintenance skills is revealed!
Whilst the sailors have been busy with their tools, the catering staff have also been busy.
They are preparing to spice up the winter nights with a Mexican themed evening on Thursday 17 August.
There are burritos, nachos, and tacos on the menu and possibly a margarita cocktail from the bar. Please refer to Facebook for the menu.
The evening is open to all, non-members and members who have a taste for Mexican cuisine. Mexican costumes are welcome.
