Quilters celebrate end of year

Where has the year gone? We breakup on the Tuesday December 4 and we come back on January 15, 2019.

I think most of us are finishing off Christmas presents, I know I am. We have had quite a good year and we have been on a few trips and we have done quite a few projects. We have a trip coming up in February 2019, so that is something to look forward to.

We will be celebrating our Christmas break-up at the Rainbow Beach Sports Club on December 11, who do a great lunch for us.

Not only do we make quilts of all shapes and sizes, we do make smaller items such as bags, cup holders, table runners, placemats, etc. So it does not have to be a quilt you make if you want to join us.

You do not need an expensive machine if you are learning, just a straight sewing machine is good enough. We have quite a few interesting projects in the year, as well as a few bus trips, so if you are interested please come along.

Our friendly group are always looking for new members, there is always someone to help you.
