We have so many amazing community organisations on the Cooloola Coast – it would be great for them to get a share of some Council funding to help with their projects. Hey, grab the cash if it is on offer!
INFOsations are being held in libraries throughout the region this month, with a focus on Gympie Regional Council’s Community Grants program:

The Community Grants Program provides financial assistance to eligible community organisations and applicants to deliver projects which “enhance the social, environmental, economic and/or cultural wellbeing of the Gympie region”.
Competitive Grant Categories
There will only be one round this year for the Competitive Grants. Applications to these categories are open from 5 September 2022 and close 16 October 2022, with the outcome advised by 30 November 2022:
- Community Projects
- Community Facilities
- Volunteer Support
- Major Environment Projects
- Creative Industry Development (RADF)
- Creative Community Projects (RADF)
- Local Events
- Regional/Major Events
Rolling Grant Categories
Applications to the following grant categories are open from 5 September 2022 and assessed until all funds are expended, or until the closing date of 31 May 2023:
- Recovery, Wellbeing and Resilience
- Get Local Community Grants
- Micro Environment Projects
- Creative Individual Skills Development (RADF)
- Council Venue Fee Waiver
- Community Halls Insurance
