There has been a date change for the 2019 Cooloola’s Got Talent showcase with it now being held on Saturday, June 22.

President Jess Milne explained: “We usually have the showcase this time of year however the complex was previously booked out, but has now become available.”

There is now more time to practice with plenty of cash up for grabs over a variety of awards as there is no first, second and third.

The showcase is a great opportunity to be creative and have fun. Let your imagination run wild and script an onstage performance that will rival any YouTube clip!

The YAP team is on hand to assist any youth that has an idea but isn’t sure how to go about it. Don’t forget that the talent part is optional; it’s all about having a go!

There will be an onstage practice time available to familiarise yourself with the set and shake off some nerves.

If anyone is looking for something to do on Saturday June 22,  then come on down to the Cooloola Coast Community Complex at 6pm and enjoy an evening of talent. Entry is $2 with a lucky door ticket thrown in, with food and drinks available for purchase.

There have been several interested acts so far and with limited places available, there’s no time to wait, get your nomination form in! Email cooloolacoastyap@gmail.com or contact Jess Milne on 0411 218 254 to get a copy.
