Yoga has many benefits for mental and physical health. The classes involve breathing techniques, exercises (asanas), meditation and relaxation.

Classes are modified to suit the student’s needs from beginner to intermediate and suit all ages and levels of fitness.

Glenda Mick has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and is diploma-qualified, putting her student’s health and wellbeing first at all her classes.

“Yoga has helped me in many ways over the years. I began after a hamstring injury from power walking years ago. I found a gentle restorative yoga class and this helped me recover completely,” Glenda said.

“This led to my passion for helping others on their wellness journeys and wanting my students to be the best they can possibly be, and this helped me become the yoga teacher I am today.

“I have students that are post surgery, such as knee and hip replacements, wanting to increase their flexibility. There are people who are new to the area have done yoga before and are wanting to continue.

“Everyone is an individual and they start off trying yoga for the first time and then I get feedback in a month or two that they can’t live without their weekly dose of yoga which is amazing to hear,” Glenda smiled.
