Support the Kia Ora Trail Ride

Kia Ora Trail RideThe Kia Ora Community Trail Ride is set for September 22-23. It is a fantastic family event and a Kia Ora State School fundraiser – support it and get involved.

The event is suitable for two-wheeled motorcycles only. Unfortunately, quad bikes are unable to take part in this event however, the event caters for all ages and skill levelled riders.

There will be an Advanced Novice and Open track that heads out over Kia Ora and Neerdie. Novice riders are welcome to try their skills on these tracks, but it is recommended that a capable rider rides with them. We are unable to determine if a rider is capable without knowing their skill level.

There is a novice track available for those not quite yet ready to hit up the open track. Please keep in mind that this track is for novice riders, those that are capable should try out the Advanced Novice and Open tracks.

Please have respect for those riding the novice track, as many are beginners. If sweeps find capable riders “tearin’ it up” on the novice track, they will be asked to upgrade to the other tracks.

For the little ones, there is the PeeWee track. It is lovely to watch the little ones riding their bikes around whilst trying to keep their heads up under the weight of that huge helmet! Training wheels are more than welcome, but please keep in mind, this is a track out in the middle of the paddock, not a smooth track.

All riders, please remember that our sweep riders are not babysitters and all PeeWee riders must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
