Between April 15 and April 26, offenders have slowly been removing sections of scaffolding that were on a building site in Ibis Court, Rainbow Beach, before the builder had chance to erect it.
This equates to 20 tonnes of scaffolding that has been stolen and would have required a flat bed truck or similar and a couple of able bodied people to remove each time.
Diesel fuel was also siphoned from a piece of equipment that was on site at the rear of the property.
Anyone that may have witnessed the removal or have any information are urged to contact Police.
