Stellar Efforts From TCB Bowlers
What a terrific month for Tin Can Bay bowlers. A stellar effort by the men saw them win the first round of the pennants – well done guys.
Ladies Singles Champ Kay Cude played Bettina from Pomona in the final of the division Champion Of Champions, close but no cigar 25-20 – next year Kaye.
Ladies Pairs Champs Lorraine Stockham and Rowena Giles won their division final and are now off to Pialba for district games.
Ladies Triples games were completed with Ann Huson, Rowena Giles, and Lorraine Stockham victors over Sandra Fox, Gail Summerville, and Carmel Mills.
Barefoot bowls had 52 attendees despite the cooler weather; more children due to school holidays and they had a ball. Thank you again to the team who run this event every month.
Our next event is the Tin Can Bay Ladies Open on 2 August, come along and watch some entertaining games. The Mens Open is in October. Bowlers please note that Bowlers Paradise will be in attendance at the Ladies Open.
