QCWA members celebrated Christmas with a sumptuous luncheon held at the Marina, TCB

To finalise our very busy year at QCWA we celebrated with a sumptuous Christmas luncheon held at the Marina – everybody enjoyed their meal, thanks to Richard and Fiona.

Thanks to all that supported our Christmas Raffle which was drawn in December. The  winners have been notified. A special thank you for your kind donations and the purchases of our popular cook books.

In 2020 we are aiming to have a second craft morning. All are welcome to bring your own craft along or join in QCWA projects, e.g. Kits for Kids, Domestic Violence Kits, Birthing Kits, Trauma Teddies, Penguin Coats and Lamb Coats, to name a few. We thank the public for their kind donations of materials, wool, etc. – all donations very welcome.

Just a reminder that State Photography Competition entries are due by March 9; now would be a good time to be taking photos.

There are 12 categories in the competition. Photos must be rectangular in shape up to the maximum size of 12.7cm x 17.8cm, mounted on A5 size black cardboard (which is half of an A4 sheet size).

Special category photographs are judged by coin donation. A 50 cent entry fee per photo still applies.
