Something fishy at Tin Can Bay

Between March 20 and June 21, a power boat moored at the Marina, corner of Oyster Parade and Emporer Street, has been allegedly broken into and items stolen.

The boat is described as a full cabin, white Kevlacat 3000 Sport Fisher. It was securely locked with gated access only. Offender/s have forced entry to the cabin of the vessel and stolen:

  • Furuno GPS plotter
  • Fyruno Sounder
  • Nine fishing rods – T Curve jig 200 and Tanacom Bull 1000 brands
  • Two tackle boxes and contents
  • Two gimble belts and harness sets
  • Fishing knife set – six knifes with blue handles and a steel sharpener

Offender/s may be trying to sell these items. If you have any knowledge of them or have seen anything suspicious please report.
