Wolf Rock Dive has recently played host to many students and divers who call Rainbow Beach ‘home’, ‘next door’ or their ‘home away from home’.

From beginner divers learning the ropes to experienced divers wanting to become diving professionals, we’re enjoying an influx of local talent.

Working hard and training hard, Epic Ocean’s Lukey Pettigrew has commenced his Divemaster internship here; the big step into a rewarding career in the dive tour industry.

Meanwhile, young Nick Walter took his first steps into diving and fit his PADI Open Water Diver Course into a jammed packed work schedule.

Becoming a dive professional opens up amazing avenues for work, career succession and travel.

Learning at Wolf Rock gives you the upper hand in the diving profession, being a small business, you get one-on-one time with experienced instructors and dive shop owners. This gives you access to all aspects of the dive industry.

As well as these familiar faces, several regional divers are completing advanced courses with Wolf Rock and enjoying all the perks that Rainbow Beach provides, and the diving is rewarding them.

The sharks are in full mating mode, with males on the prowl, they are getting up close and personal with the divers with round ribbontail ray numbers growing and the giant Queensland Grouper getting in on the action.

If you’re interested in a diving adventure at Wolf Rock, give us a call on 5486 8004. Come and see what else this amazing beach has to offer.
