Pillowcase Program in Cooloola Cove

Australian Red Cross emergency services volunteers will be visiting Cooloola Cove on Saturday 4th September 2021 to deliver a program known as the Pillowcase Project – an exercise designed to help children and the young at heart be agents for emergency preparation within their families and communities.

Each person who participates is given a pillowcase to decorate and take home, to start their own personal emergency kit.

Adults are not forgotten. Cooloola Cove Residents and Friends will be hosting Cuppa in Cooloola in the hall at the same time. The Cooloola Coast Community Local Disaster Management Support Group will be letting us know what we can do to prepare for the disaster season that starts on 1st October 2021.

When: Saturday 4th September

Time: 10.00am – 11.30am

Where: Veterans and Community Hall, Cooloola Cove (behind Woolworths)
