Claude ‘The Mowerman’ Harvey pushes his mower around Australia raising money for Bravehearts, an organisation dedicated to protecting children.

Claude will be leaving Caloundra on October 12 and arriving in Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach on Sunday October 25 before heading north again.

The 73-year-old lives on the Gold Coast and started his fundraising journey in 2000 and has been helping Bravehearts since 2006.

He has raised well over a million dollars for Bravehearts and if you can help Claude, go to his facebook page to donate or see him when he arrives in town.

He has been reported to say as long as child sexual assault continues in our community, he’ll be pushing his lawnmower to make a difference.

He said he is raising funds to see every child in every school in every town in Australia given the opportunity to see Bravehearts personal safety education program.

Bravehearts specialises in education and training – personal safety education programs for children, as well as industry-leading child protection training courses for professionals.

If you would like to talk to someone, Bravehearts toll-free number is 1800 272 831 and the Support Line is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday AEST, or call 000 if you are in immediate danger. The Bravehearts website is www.bravehearts.org.au
