Deck the Halls! Decoration making
Stop by your local library for free festive decoration making activity on Wednesday December 19 – no booking required. Sessions at the Tin Can Bay are 10.30 to 11.30am and at the Rainbow Beach at 2.30 to 3.30pm.

Family Karaoke Wednesdays
Buzz Karaoke come to Rainbow Beach Sports Club, the first hour is reserved for kids; then the adults have a turn! It’s on from 7- 11pm, December 19, 26 and January 2. Enjoy dinner out an a song!
Kids eat FREE
Every Monday and Tuesday, there’s one selected kids meal free with the purchase of an adult’s meal. Dinner only at Rainbow Beach Sports Club (conditions apply). The Sports Club have a couple of pool tables for all to enjoy, and a kids’ room.
Swim into the Aquatic Centre
Open during the holidays, Monday to Thursday 6.30-11am and 3-6pm, Friday 6.30-11am and Saturday mornings from 9am – see BJ and the team for Stroke Correction, Aqua Aerobics and Swim Squad times.
YAP activities for December
Cooloola Cove Community Christmas and Carols on December 8, from 3pm at the Cooloola Cove Veterans and Community Hall. Free family enjoyment, including craft and games with a Christmas theme.
Youth Christmas, December 18 from 10am -12pm, at the Cooloola Cove Veterans and Community Hall. A variety of Christmas fun from cooking to gift making. A light lunch will be provided.

Become a Rainbow Beach surf lifesaver
If you are 15 or older, why not have fun these school holidays and meet new friends – and gain your bronze medallion?
The intense seven-day, live-in course, held January 13-19, will earn you a Bronze Medallion: Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue).
If you are aged 13 to 15 years you can enrol in a Surf Rescue Certificate and Resuscitation Award (SRC).
It’s a great chance to learn some new skills, meet some great people and do good for your community.

This is the perfect learn to surf experience for anyone! Covering all the basics from surf safety to catching waves and ultimately having fun during an authentic surfing experience. Bookings essential via Eventbrite.
