YAP President Jess Milne would like to thank all the volunteers who have made the program possible. “YAP may be a program aimed at providing safe social events for youth, however, adult volunteers also benefit. Volunteers develop confidence through their service while re-engaging with their inner child by participating in the activities.”
The group are also seeking a sole sponsor, says Jess, “With sponsorship we could expand and keep all activities free. Currently I just try to find money to pay insurance each six months.
“We still have a few grant funds, however, they run out soon and I hope we can keep scraping together enough funds to continue a basic program.”
